Q: What type of services can LSD Infrared System offer me?

A: LSD offers preventative maintenance for all facilities. Our specially equipped vans find electrical problems before outages can occur. We have been in the business for over 25 years and we are highly trained.

Q: How does LSD equipment work?

A: Inside of our van, an equipment operator scans overhead power lines and equipment with an infrared camera while the driver travels along at normal speeds. If the image on the screen shows an abnormal temperature differential, or "hot spot", the location is further studied to evaluate the need for repair or replacement of the equipment.
